following must be assumed regarding the object's motion?

B.The object is moving with a constant velocity.
C.The object is accelerating.
D.The object is at equilibrium.

Answer:

I think it is other B,C I think not fur sure though

For an object to experience a non-zero net force ; ( B and C )

  • The Object is moving with a constant velocity ( B )
  • The Object is accelerating ( C )

An object at rest and an object at equilibrium will experience a zero net force because the applied force ( weight of the object ) is cancelled out by the force of gravity. while an object in motion will continue to change its position with respect to time and will be acted upon by air resistance and drag force.

Therefore an Object in motion ( constant velocity and accelerating ) will have a Non-zero net force.

Hence we can conclude that for an object to experience a non-zero net force ,The Object is moving with a constant velocity and The Object is accelerating.
