The sun was shining and the breeze was blowing. Mercy loved days like this and wished that every day could be so perfect. David looked at Mercy smiling to herself and fell in love with her all over again. Her smile had always been his weakness.

"What are you smiling about?" asked David.

I'm just enjoying this beautiful day, replied Mercy.

David moved closer to Mercy, put his arm around her and said, "Every day is a beautiful day if I get to spend it with you."

An older woman sitting on the bench nearby looked over at the happy couple and smiled as she remembered the joy of young love.
