Well a living thing is defined as in a scientific term, the ability to reproduce. Living things like humans, animal and even plants are considered living because we can reproduce, even plants by making new seeds in the plant growth process. Non living things are things that won’t be able to reproduce, like for example a rock can t reproduce since it’s not living and it just “lacks the abitlity to”.

Plants are living things they need air,nutrients,water,sunlight. Other living things are animals, and they need food,water,space, and shelter ....... Non- living things include things that do not need food ,eat,reproduce,or breathe. A car does not eat or grow..... HOPE THIS HELPS!!!!!!!!!
