Japan’s longest-serving prime minister, Shinzo Abe, was a well chosen prime minister. Although many Japanese were dissatisfied with Abe’s handling of the current world wide pandemic, feeling he took action too late, he passed a legislation that opened Japan’s military options, and this included the U.S. Not to mention he was able to keep trade frictions with the U.S. from increasing any further. It’s sad to see this man’s health decline so rapidly, though he is sixty-five years of age.
