Now, find 37.5% of 48 to find the hits.
37.5% of 48
0.375 × 48 = 18
Emilie hits 18 times when she was at-bats for 48 times.
From Judith's row, we saw that to calculate the batting, you divide the hits by the amount of times she is at the bat.
Emilie:
18 hits
48 at-bats
18 / 48 = 0.375 batting
As you can see, the decimal of Emilie's rate is the same as batting.
