Geosphere contains the Earth itself from litosphere until Earth's interior. It contains the rocks and minerals we step on. It contains both continental and oceanic crusts. It doesn't contain the gases living organisms breathe or those that trap solar radiation, nor does it it provides a medium for water to move between earth’s surface and the air. The best answer is it provides a medium for cycles that provide nutrients to living organisms. Nutrient cycles often occur in land or soil.
