When Alice was young, she was arrogant and rude where as Charlie was kind and modest. One day, when Alice was sitting in a bus, an old man came to her asking if she could give him his seat for a short while as he was old and could not stand in the bus. Alice, not only turned him down but also insulted him badly. Charlie who was observing this scene came to rescue and gave the old man his seat and told Alice that soon she will realize how it feels to be old and weary.
Time changed and Alice got happily married. Her husband died ten years after the marriage leaving two children behind. Alice loved the children and took care of them. But when Alice turned old and the children grew up, they took Alice as a burden and threw her out of the house. In that time Alice realized if only she would have been kind and helpful towards other, she could have asked somebody for help at this tough situation.
