If a new type of seed were developed that made it easier to grow a particular crop how would the production possibilities frontier for a farmer choosing between that crop and another one change

Answer:

It all boils down on the demand of that particular crop and the amount of profit it brings to the farmers in the market. If that seed is cheap and its product is high in demand, the farmers would definitely shift from their old crops to the new seed. Or some rich farmers can add that a product of their agriculture as well.
