Politically correct answer: When we burn fossil fuels, we release carbon into the atmosphere as carbon dioxide too much excess CO2 not absorbed by plants leads to global warming.

Explanation:

Thats the politically correct answer, however, anyone with a brain can look back at the earth's temperature and see that the earth is actually COOLING not warming. If you don't believe me look it up for yourself.
