Frannie is two years older than 3 times her daughter's age. If Frannie is 47, how old ids her daughter?

The answer is 15. Her daughter is 15 years old.

In order to find this we need to work backwards. First let’s subtract 2 from Frannie’s current age.
That gives us 45. We know that her daughter is 3 times younger so now all we need to do is divide by 3.
That gives us fifteen.
