here is the process and answer for the first question.
I am having problem solving the second one. It would be great if you could mention the answer for question number 2.
1. 80 cans are needed to feed 10 dogs for 6 days.
5 dogs can be fed for 9 days from 60 cans.
15 days will 40 cans feed 2 dogs.
Please check the attached file for a brief answer.
2. Maric's rate = job/8
Hugh's rate = job/6
Ethan's rate = job/12
combined rates = job/8 + job/6 + job/12 = (9/24)job = 9job/24
time to do 1 job = job/( 9job/24 ) = 24/9 = 8/3
it would take 8/3 days.
How many cans of wet food should I feed my dog?
Give your dog one 3 oz can per 3 - 3½ pounds of body weight daily, divided into two or more meals. Adjust this amount as needed to help maintain your dog's ideal body condition. If mixing with dry food, remember that one 3 oz can replace about ¼ cup of dry dog food.
