Their cell wall don't have peptidoglycan like other bacteria. Archaebacteria are resistance to penicillin and some other antibiotics. These are of three groups such as methanogens, Halophiles, and thermoacidophiles.

Methanogens are methane-producing bacteria and used as fuel. Halophiles are found in saline water and heavy salt concentration. They contain red carotenoid pigment in the cell. So they appear red.  Thermoacidophiles can live in extremely high temperatures and high acidity.
