The Industrial Revolution had a huge effect not only on England. But on the world. Every material item you use today, from computers, to books, to even your tooth brush, is a result of the industrial revolution. However in England, the Industrial Revolution changed Citizens to move from rural areas to urban areas (Which also increased crime). And last the industrial revolution also started to decrease England as being an Imperial country. Instead of having to send out people to foreign lands to bring back goods, they started to make everything that they needed (Which helped to end slavery)
