There are different methods in distribution. The option chosen is first-come/first-served distribution method.
What is the first-come/first-served about?
It is a method that is known to be one where goods and services is only given out to the first people that comes to purchase it. For example, the first person in line, will received the chance to buy the movie tickets.
In this method, Customers can either choose to get served early and thereby spend quite a lot of time waiting or they can skip the line, but they will end up been served late.
The person who receives the good or service from this type of distribution method is the people that is first to arrive.
In this method, everyone can receives or have access to the goods. It only boils down to the timing. Some will receive early while some late. In some cases, where there is shortage of goods and services, the last person who arrive late may not get access to goods if it is sold out.
An advantage is that if you are on time, you can lay your hands that is be able to buy the goods e.g. concert tickets.
The disadvantage is that this method is often employed when there is limited resources and as such not everyone have access to the goods or services.
Also waiting in line in this method is not a yardstick that one will receive the items that you want to purchase.
This method may not be able to handle or satisfy some of your specific needs and wants and also makes people to fight for what they want.
My chosen method cannot be used to distribute large amounts of goods and services to many people each day as people will be eager to buy since they will be served on time based on their arrival time and thus there may be disagreement, no co-operation and also may result in fight outbreak.
