Tanisha is 31 years old. She has tattoos on both of her arms (below the elbow), her upper chest, and a name tattooed on her neck. Tanisha has an interview coming up for a Nursing position in a couple of days. What should she do about her tattoos during the interview? What might an interviewer think of her tattoos?

Respuesta :

The interviewer might think it is unprofessional so maybe she can cover it up with make up or wear something that is not revealing the tattoos eg long sleeves , a fashionable scarf etc

Some employers are stricter than others. Some people don't think tattoos look professional along with body piercings, and others don't seem to care about it. So it depends what the interviewer might think of her depending on their policies and rules.

But for the first interview I would suggest that Tanisha wears clothing that doesn't cover her tattoos so if they have a problem with it they can tell her straight away and if they don't then she can go on and work without worry instead of hiding them and then later on they find out and fire her.

Hope this helps,

Davinia.
