Released phosphate-inorganic phosphates form a 'pool' of phosphates within the cells. From there, they can be used for different reactions, into a variety of biosynthetic pathyways. Some of those reactions are formation of GTP,ATP, the ribonucleotides, protein phosphorylation etc.
