I'd say, the correct option to the first question is B. Argument:

It says that he could drink an entire river, eat a trillion beans and a silo full of grains. It was also said that he washed that all down with a cup of milk, AS IF HE WAS A DRAIN. So, in other words, he ate a lot to later just wash everything down with a cup of milk like a drain.

Therefore, the answer is:
B.
