Answer:United States representatives and tribal representatives are responsible to many of the same people. First and foremost, both representatives are charged with upholding the laws of the United States Constitution, and are therefore responsible to the federal government as a whole. Also, the media aims to keep representatives both in tribes and in the federal government accountable to the people by reporting information (both positive and negative) to the public for them to judge. Tribal representatives are also responsible to tribe members and the federal government, but they are also charged with something different than United States representatives: they are responsible for preserving Native American sovereignty, traditions, and culture on tribal lands.
