PLEASE HELP, BIOLOGY!!!! (10 POINTS!)

1.) What do plants do the CO2 present in the atmosphere?

2.) What happens to CO2 levels when photosynthesizing plant numbers are reduced?

Respuesta :

1) In a process called “photosynthesis,” plants use the energy in sunlight to convert CO2 and water to sugar and oxygen. The plants use the sugar for food—food that we use, too, when we eat plants or animals that have eaten plants — and they release the oxygen into the atmosphere.

2) · Plants take carbon dioxide (CO2) out of the atmosphere to do photosynthesis, and thus help reduce the greenhouse gases .In short, the CO2 levels decrease.
