Demonstrate the evolution in the structure of the atom

Answer: Option (d) is the correct answer.

Explanation:

J.J. Thompson had proposed plum pudding model in which he stated that an atom consists of positive and negative charges.

Whereas Rutherford said that an atom contains protons, neutrons and electrons. Protons (have positive charge) and neutrons (have no charge)  reside inside the nucleus of the atom when mass of an atom is concentrated. And, electrons which have negative charge revolve around the nucleus of the atom.

Hence, the given models can be best used to demonstrate the evolution in the structure of the atom.
