a function of a golgi body is the modifying, sorting and packaging of proteins for secretion. It is also involved in the transport of lipids around the cell, and the creation of lysosomes.
hope this helps! ❤ from peachimin
Answer by Mimiwhatsup: The Golgi body is also known as the (Golgi Apparatus) it is an organelle (number of organized or specialized structures within a living cell) that is mostly present in Eukaryotic cells (complex cells in which the genetic material is organized into membrane-bound nuclei). This body is made up by membrane-bound sacs. The Golgi apparatus's job is to process along with bundle up macromolecules such as proteins and lipids because they are synthesized in the cell.
