The Proclamation of 1763 did not cause the same effect in Georgia as it did in other colonies. This was a relatively small colony (it had the smallest population of the 13 colonies), which did not have a big political infrastructure.
After the French and Indian War, the state expanded its territory and gained resources. This expansion of land allowed Georgians to settle in new coastal areas (Georgia's southern boarder was moved farther south to the St. Marys River), giving them great opportunities to trade.
