There are many activities used to support and enhance language development in kindergarten, and they are fun! such as:

  • Word games. (Scrabble, Pictionary, Charades)
  • Jokes. (they will  help foster good humour and creativity in children)
  • Riddles. (It is a  fun way to use words and children will have to think too)
  • Rhymes.( the repetitive chanting, promotes good listening skills)
  • Homonyms.( with words that sound the same but have different meanings, children enhance their vocabulary)
  • Storytelling.( provide a good bonding, communication skills, broaden the imagination)
  • Songs. (easy to remember, good listening skill)
  • Tongue twisters (correct pronuncation and enunciation)
