The Declaration on Liberated Europe stated that all nations previously under German control would have a democratic government.
This declaration was agreed during the Yalta War Conference which was conducted on 4/2/1945 and 11/2/1945.The meeting was attended by Joseph Stalin, Winston Churchill and F D Roosevelt. These leaders all together agreed to help liberated people to solve their pressing economic and political challenges through democratic means by free election to form governments that respected the will of the people.
