The mainly three types of directions exits between velocity and acceleration.
The velocity and acceleration are the vector quantities as having both magnitude and direction. To direction of both factors depends upon the speed. for example, we take a car to observe the direction of these two factors, then there will be no direction when the car is at rest.
When the car moves at uniform velocity then its direction will be forward but there will be no direction of acceleration.
When the car moves with increasing speed continuously, then the direction of velocity and acceleration will be parallel.
When the car is at speed and trying to slow down its speeds, it will create acceleration. In this case, the direction of velocity and acceleration will be in the opposite.
