2nd step multiply both sides by 2:

x/2 = 7 ....................... Multiplication property of equality.
This step is wrong. This step is called "Subtraction property of equality". This means you have to subtract 3 from both sides
3 + x/2 - 3 = 10 - 3
Simplifying
x/ 2 = 7
Step 3)
x = 14 ....This is called "Multiplication property of equality" because you multiply both sides by 2.
