The u.s. army recruits soldiers based on the slogan, "army strong," implying that people can reach their full personal potential in the u.s. army. this is an appeal to what need according to maslow's hierarchy of needs?

Respuesta :

In his 1943 paper “A Theory of Human Motivation,” Abraham Maslow provided a theory that aims to explain how human motivation usually operates. In it, he proposes a hierarchy of needs, with the following structure:

Physiological

Safety

Love/Belonging

Esteem

Self-actualization

The goal of his theory is to help the individual move through the levels so that he can eventually reach the self-actualization level. The army’s appeal is directed towards this level. The self-actualization level is reached when a person reaches his full potential, and becomes the best version of what he wanted to be.
