Respuesta :
Alternating current is an electric current which periodically reverses direction, in contrast to direct current which flows only in one direction. They are alike because you use watts to measure both AC and DC power, where one watt equals one joule per second and AC and DC electricity respond in the same manner to resistance. One way they are different is the direction of the flow DC is constant and moves in one direction while AC goes back and forth just like the name suggest.
A DC is a direct current that is when the electricity flow in one direction. AC being the alternative current is when the selectivity flow is reversed into different directions or intervals.
- Both the AC and DC are the result of the induced charge, both have the same voltage source.
- DC current moves in a straight line and can be made from AC. Most the house applications are connected by DC. But DC is not capable of traveling long distances like AC.
