Respuesta :

we know that product if two negative integers is always positive .

so here we are going to solve with positive numbers and finally including a negative sign with that numbers .

let [tex] x [/tex] and [tex] x+1 [/tex]be the two consecutive integers

[tex] (x)*(x+1)=182 [/tex]

[tex] x^2+x=182 [/tex]

we need to solve this equation by quadratic formula.

[tex] a=1 b=1 c=-182 [/tex][tex] (x+14)*(x-13)=0 [/tex]

x=14 and x=13

if we include negative sign -14 and -13 will be the intergers.

[tex] n(n+1)=182 [/tex] where [tex] n<-1 [/tex]
