One way that Franklin Roosevelt maintained a close connection with the american people was through fireside chats on the radio.
Radio was used by Roosevelt in order to deliver his speeches. Plus, he created "Fireside Chats" where he addressed to the people about his agenda and policies. Roosevelt used to deliver speeches and updating citizens of the U.S. entry into World War II through his speech where he refered to the attack as a ''day that will live in infamy''.
